Water-cooled 4-cylinder inline engine with turbocharging and charge air cooling. Engine and exhaust aftertreatment (EAT) are optimized for highest total system efficiency and thus ensure lowest consumption and total operating cost.
The modern & most compact engine design dedicated by a pipeless engine with reduced number of parts, stringent split of hot and cold side to avoid heat shielding and reduced parasitic losses (oil and water circuit). The engine drops into existing installation envelopes of existing DEUTZ engine TCD 4.1 and interface very close to existing machines and engines to minimize transition cost.
