AV 70-2 TIER 4i

The Ammann AV 70-2 Tier 4i Pivot-Steered Tandem Roller features a tight turning radius that provides manoeuvrability without tearing. It also utilises a Tier 4i Cummins engine to meet environmental standards.

Two split drums deliver the tight turning radius while the roller’s frame enables crab steering up to 1180 mm on both sides. The operator can choose steering options of front drum, rear drum or both.

A two-stage vibration exciter provides compaction. The sliding seat helps the operator view drum edges and surfaces.

Combi rollers feature the benefits of vibratory and rubber-tyred rollers. The front vibratory drum enables the machine to achieve high compaction levels, while the rear rubber-tyres homogenise the compacted surface.
