Allied Construction Products, LLC has announced the addition of the Allied/Rammer Model 2577 hydraulic impact hammer to their full-product line. As attachment use increases, Allied continues to lead the industry with product improvements. Allied's newest addition, the Rammer Model 2577 Mid-Range hammer weighs 3,880 pounds and is ideal for use on 46,300 to 66,100 pound excavators.

The new Model 2577 hammer from Allied/Rammer provides the very latest in breaker design with the focus on the operator, environment and application. It features Rammer’s VIDAT (vibration dampened tie rod) System and utilizes new materials that make it lighter while retaining high levels of productitvity.

Incorporating Rammer’s Fixed Blow Energy (FBE) design, the Model 2577 delivers maximum impact energy with every blow for the greatest productivity regardless of flow fluctuations.

The Model 2577’s sound-suppressed housing increases operator comfort and can be utilized in urban areas where noise restrictions are a factor.

The 5000 Foot Pound Energy Class Model 2577 provides the end-user with exceptional durability and delivers the right amount of power to the material for your demolition application.

Special features of the Model 2577 are:

  • Sound-Suppressed Housing―New housing enhances use in urban areas and provides operator-friendly environment in the cab of the carrier 
  • Idle Blow Protector―Protects the hammer from blank-firing.
  • Soft Blow Sensor―Reduces the power and frequency of the hammer in softer rock. 
  • Safety Valve―Protects the hammer from damage due to excessive hydraulic input.
  • VIDAT System―Vibration dampened tie rods that extend operating life, reduce operating costs and minimize downtime.
  • Heavy-Duty Housing―Offers additional wear-resistance with stone claws for demanding applications.

  • One or more of over 2,500 customized hydraulic kits from Allied provide components for mounting the Model 2577 on excavators. The Model 2577 requires 37 to 53 gpm at 1,950 to 2,100 psi and it breaks at a rate of 450 to 750 blows per minute. Demolition of concrete structures, building foundations, trench rock and oversize rock are many of the applications for the Model 2577 Mid-Range hydraulic hammer.
