SKF Canada Ltd and Hofmann Engineering, Australia together with other minority owners, have entered into agreement that SKF acquire Hofmann Engineering North America.
Dan Reed, President of SKF Regional Sales and Service, North America, explains, “Hofmann Engineering North America is a great fit with our strategy and activities. They have a strong product and service portfolio and skilled staff. The complementary nature of their products and technologies will enable us to even better serve our customers in the industrial market in North America. “
Hofmann Engineering North America is a high precision machining operation located in Cambridge, ON in a 50,000 sq ft facility and has 16 employees. It is currently servicing mainly OEM customers handling large components.
