The Pink-Belt machine was auctioned off at the construction industry's biggest show
Pink-Belt, the 15.2-tonne Link-Belt 145 X4 excavator that travelled across the United States for the past year to support breast cancer awareness, was sold to Randy Gallegos of Rasmussen Equipment after being auctioned off at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. The sale raised $220,000 for the cause. Additional fundraising efforts included a $2,000 contribution from Jade Shank and a $10,000 donation from Jay Shafer of Shafer Equipment Company.
"Breast cancer awareness and the search for a cure are causes that are deeply important to Rasmussen Equipment," said Gallegos. "We are proud to support LBX and its partners in helping fund programs that make a difference for individuals and families affected by breast cancer."
"Presenting those two cheques of $116,650 each represents more than just a financial gift; it is a symbol of LBX's unwavering commitment to the families and individuals battling breast cancer in our communities. We are incredibly proud to partner with Saint Joseph Health Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help fund awareness and early detection programs and to increase survival rates in our communities and across our nation. It is just one way we put our values into action. We are incredibly grateful to our employees, business partners, dealers, and community members who rallied together to make this cheque presentation possible. Our Pink Belt success proves the life-saving power of teamwork," shared Eric Sauvage, president and CEO, LBX Company.

"It has meant the world to reunite and celebrate the success of another amazing Pink Belt tour and auction at CONEXPO. Seeing the LBX team and their many supporters sharing how they have been touched by Breast Cancer and were called to support through this campaign shows just how powerful and united a community can be. We're thrilled to continue this partnership, knowing that LBX's incredible advocacy and most recent donation will go directly to funding life-saving programs and furthering our mission of Helping Women Now," commented Emily Millender, senior manager of Strategic Partnerships at the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Delaine Thiel, market vice president, Philanthropy, Saint Joseph Health Foundations, said of the donation, "LBX has been a long-standing partner with our Yes, Mamm Program in promoting early detection of Breast Cancer through screening services. Their creativity and passion in marketing and organizing the Pink Belt Tour is a testament to Philanthropy. Saint Joseph Health Foundations is grateful to LBX for this year's generous gift to the Yes Mamm Program and for all they do to support our community.
