Mack adds third Certified Uptime Dealer location in Quebec

Mack Trucks has named Montreal-based Mack Laval its third Mack Certified Uptime Dealer in the province of Quebec, and third French-language location. The accreditation confirms the dealer has met stringent requirements to amplify customer service and uptime. Mack made the announcement April 11 during ExpoCam at Place Bonaventure, Montreal.

Skyjack showcases new models and new technology at bauma

Linamar Corporation's Skyjack division changed things up a bit at this year's bauma. The leader in aerial access took the show indoors and brought a taste of Canada with them to their first two-story indoor booth. With their new full-size rough terrain scissor lift at the helm and the first of their redesigned DC electric scissor lifts on stand, there was a lot of traffic to hall C4 to see what Skyjack had to offer.

Vermeer introduces new MX300 mixing system

The right-sized mixing system is key for drilling operations. With a redesigned, slim rectangular profile tank, the new Vermeer MX300 mixing system helps horizontal directional drilling (HDD) contractors optimize productivity and offers customizable mounting configuration options. Equipped with a 23 hp (17.2 kW) Kohler ECH 7300 EFI gas engine that outputs 350 gpm (1,324.9 Lpm) of flow, the MX300 mixing system power unit can be paired with up to two tanks at once to help decrease time spent mixing and refilling drilling fluid tanks. The unit's narrow rectangular tank design also helps maximize fluid volume, and a small footprint can help with convenient transporting and storage.

Kobelco shows 1.7-tonne Deutz electric mini excavator concept at bauma

Following extensive research and innovation in partnership with German engine manufacturer Deutz AG, Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe B.V. has announced the launch of its first electric mini excavator concept. The arrival of the Kobelco Electric powered 17SR comes just three years after the European introduction of the pioneering SK210HLC-10 Hybrid excavator, and further reinforces the Japanese manufacturer's strategy of reducing its environmental impact. The Kobelco electric-powered 17SR concept can be seen for the first time at bauma 2019.

Recycled aggregates for roads

POSITAL adds new communications interface for tilt sensors

POSITAL has added a new communications interface for its innovative Dynamic TILTIX series - making it even easier to use these smart and rugged instruments in mobile machinery and heavy duty construction vehicles. Automatic Greasing Systems specialist FLO Components Ltd.announces the winner of the Lincoln 1844 PowerLuber Grease Gun Giveaway Contest. Gabriel Lopez, Marketing Specialist at FLO announced; "Congratulations to our winner - Matt Wilson.  Matt is part of the team at Knott Construction Ltd., a proud second generation, family owned business in Meaford, Ontario.  Matt's name was drawn randomly from all eligible entries on March 29 in the FLO NHES 2019 Booth and he successfully answered a skill testing question."

Case’s largest-ever compact track loader

Case's all-new TV450 compact track loader is a 10,610-pound vertical-lift machine with a rated operating capacity of 4,500 pounds at 50 percent tipping load. The largest Case CTL ever built features 9,188 pounds of breakout force, and optional high-flow (3,450 psi at 39.5 gpm) and enhanced high-flow (4,000 psi at 35 gpm) hydraulics for high-power attachments such as mulching heads, stump grinders and cold planers.

Deere’s newest compact wheel loaders

These all new compact loaders from John Deere feature their Articulation Plus Steering System, a new loader arm and coupler design, and speeds that make for some pretty quick moves. Add in the 324L's optional High-Lift configuration, and these compact loaders could make a significant contribution to a company's bottom line.
