Hipower Systems has announced the Apollo L-30 – a heavy-duty, generator-equipped lighting tower. The ultra-long-lasting, energy-efficient LED lighting is the first to be designed specifically for the rigorous demands of the mobile worksite. According to the company, it is also the only light source for light towers that meets Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) standards for glare reduction, bug reduction (attracts 80 percent fewer insects than traditional lights) and shadow reduction.

For the past few years, portable industrial generators have been undergoing a transformation in design and performance. Today, these versatile machines comes in a wide array of sizes and power ratings. They can be equipped with their own fuel tanks, outfitted with bifuel systems to burn gas and diesel, and incorporate advanced power distribution equipment.
Canadian Standards Association Certifies HIPOWER SYSTEMS Diesel and Natural Gas Generator Lines for Compliance
HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a manufacturer of power-generation and power distribution equipment has announced that the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) has certified two of its natural gas generator lines for the CSA-C22.2 No. 14-13 and No. 100-04 (R2013) standards in Class 4215 01―Electric Generating Plants. With this certification, all HIPOWER SYSTEMS backup natural gas generators in the 20 to 400 Kw range, as well as its prime power/rental natural gas generators from 20 Kva up to 430 Kva, are fully CSA certified. The certified natural gas generators join the HIPOWER SYSTEMS diesel generator line, the majority of which were already certified by the CSA.
Diesel generators are notoriously problematic during cold weather. Not only does diesel fuel become unstable in cold temperatures but when the engine block and heads are cold, they absorb the heat of the compression required to ignite diesel fuel.
HIPOWER SYSTEMS Debuts Comprehensive Line of “Winter Pack” Generator Packages; Helps Operators Ensure Consistent, Reliable Performance in Extreme Cold
HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a manufacturer of power-generation and power distribution equipment in the U.S. and Canada, has announced it is featuring an extensive line of cold-weather equipment.
Hybrid power generation systems leverage the benefits and eliminate the disadvantages of the various types of diesel and photovoltaic power generation. In such systems fuel consumption is lower and operational cost is less affected by the fluctuations that arise from fuel price volatility. Furthermore, CO2 emissions are also reduced and noise pollution decreases. Moreover, in the case of an oil-exporting country, there is also the gain made from exporting the unconsumed diesel.
HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a manufacturer of power-generation and power distribution equipment in the U.S. and Canada, has announced it has chosen John Deere as a supplier for Final Tier 4 diesel engines in HIPOWER generators. The first engine HIPOWER will be offering in its generators is the John Deere PowerTech™ PSS 9.0L.
HIPOWER SYSTEMS debuts online generator quoting system; makes it easy for distributors to match customers' needs
HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a manufacturer of power-generation and power distribution equipment in the U.S. and Canada, announced it has developed an innovative new online quoting system to help its dealers and distributors find and price the perfect generator for a customer's needs, down to the smallest detail. The sophistication of the HIPOWER Quote Generator puts it on par with the automated quoting systems of the largest generator manufacturers.
