More than 100 companies have already announced plans to introduce new work trucks and equipment at Work Truck Week 2019.
International Truck announced the standard availability of air disc brakes for the International HV Series and HX Series models. The HV507, HV607, HV513 and HV613 models and the HX515, HX520, HX615 and HX620 models now feature Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes as a standard offering and are available for order.
When the time came to start thinking about updating the WorkStar line, International knew that it had to be careful - they needed to keep all of the popular aspects of those trucks while bringing new ideas and offerings to the table. That was the thinking behind International's new HV line of trucks, which will replace WorkStar trucks in the company's selection, but provide more comfort for drivers and greater flexibility for body builders.
International Truck has announced three plans to deliver on its Uptime pledge to vocational truck customers. These include the extension of the International A26 Customer Uptime Assurance Program for vocational models, a new, best-in-class Vocational Confidence Warranty Package and the International A26 Barrel Protection Plan for the International HX Series and International HV Series trucks powered by the International A26 12.4L big bore engine.
International Truck unveiled the International HV Series Mid-Range Diesel (MRD) at World of Concrete 2018, including a bridge formula truck for the concrete industry. The first models of the International HV Series, a new line of vocational trucks designed for serious work, pack brawn and brains into a severe service vehicle, were the HV513 and HV613 trucks launched at the North American Commercial Vehicle Show in September 2017.
Four of North America's leading truck manufacturers have announced they will unveil new vehicles at The Work Truck Show 2018. Chevrolet Commercial Vehicles will reveal its Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD chassis cab trucks. Ford Commercial Vehicles will launch a new commercial vehicle. Hino Trucks will introduce a line of Class 7 and 8 trucks. International Truck will debut what it's calling "the driver's ultimate work truck." Additional OEMs with press conferences scheduled include Ram Commercial, which plans to announce work-truck-related news for the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 truck, Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc. and Mack Trucks Inc.
