MAX re-bar tiers –models RB650A and RB395 –weigh only 7.2 pounds and 5.2 pounds respectively, will tie re-bar automatically in approximately one second per tie, and use 9.6 V rechargeable battery power, virtually eliminating risks associated with manual tying.
The RB650A uses 16-gauge wire to tie up to 25 by 30-mm re-bars in approximately one second. The smaller RB395 model uses 21-gauge wire to tie up to 15-by 9-mm re-bars, and is equally fast and easy to use. Both models allow one-hand operation, and wire usage is regulated automatically to match the size of the tie. One roll of wire allows 120 to 230 ties with two or three coils per battery charge.
