High static linear load and high amplitude

Dynapac’s 27-tonne CA702 single-drum compactor features high static linear load and high amplitude of 2 mm with a vibration frequency of 28 Hz. It will handle all heavy duty compaction work on blasted rock and most types of soil and clay masses. Rock fill can be compacted in layers over 2 m thick, in which the size of the rocks can be up to 1 m in diameter. The unit is also available in a pad-foot version for cohesive materials such as silt and clay.

Drum width is 2,100 mm. The large 1,700 cm drum diameter ensures excellent traction despite its heavy size.

The roller is powered by a Cummins diesel engine, delivering 164 kW (220 hp) at 2,200 rpm. The CA702 has a gradeability of 45 percent and can achieve high compaction to a depth of 2 metres.
