The new Moonlight glare-free lighting systems from Multiquip eliminate the fans required by competitive balloons lights to maintain air in the balloon.
The balloon inflates in seconds and a simple plug maintains air pressure and protects the light. Eliminating the need for a fan means dirt and other debris are not blown into the unit thus extending balloon and engine life while maximizing productivity.
The Moonlights are ideal for freeway paving projects, security lighting, and traffic control. They rise to a maximum height of 10 feet (three metres), are available in 150, 400 and 1,000-watt outputs and effectively illuminate areas up to 100 feet from the light source. The pure, glare-free white light stands out from the yellowish light produced by some competitive models.
These lighting systems feature bulbs that last up to 10,000 hours, durable water-resistant PVC balloon material, and a compact design that stows away into a protective case when not in use. They’re also stable in winds up to 55 mph (88 kph).
