VMAC wants to reduce downtime with new mobile 12/24V battery boosting system
New boosting system integration provides an alternative to carrying separate portable equipment

VMAC has introduced its new VMAC 12/24V Battery Booster, a compact onboard system designed to give service vehicles reliable battery boosting capability for both 12- and 24-volt equipment.
Designed specifically for mobile service applications, the VMAC 12/24V Battery Booster provides technicians with an integrated alternative to carrying separate portable boosting equipment. The system uses independent booster batteries that are isolated from the service vehicle chassis during boosting, while the vehicle's charging system maintains the booster batteries between cycles.
"Service technicians are expected to arrive prepared for an increasingly wide range of equipment, and that includes machines operating on both 12-volt and 24-volt electrical systems," said Jomo Green, VMAC vice president of marketing and sales. "The new VMAC Battery Booster gives fleets another capability they can integrate directly into the service truck, helping technicians stay prepared without adding another portable piece of equipment to manage."
One system can service a range of 12- and 24-volt equipment
The VMAC 12/24V Battery Booster is designed for service trucks and vans supporting construction equipment, heavy machinery, commercial vehicles, and fleet maintenance operations.
Key features include:
- 12V and 24V boosting from one integrated system
- 12V charging capability to help maintain booster battery charge between uses
- Independent booster battery isolation from the service vehicle chassis during boosting
- Compact 31.6-pound design for integration into service truck cabinets
- Booster Cables (included): Heavy-duty booster cables with alligator clamps offered in either 30- or 10-foot lengths.
The VMAC Battery Booster measures 17.75 inches long by 16.6 inches wide by 7.5 inches high, helping upfitters incorporate battery boosting capability into service bodies where available space and payload are important considerations.
Mobile service fleets can provide maximum uptime
For technicians maintaining construction equipment, fleet vehicles, and heavy machinery, a dead battery can quickly turn into costly downtime. Service vehicles may also be called upon to support equipment with different electrical systems throughout the same workday.
By integrating 12V and 24V boosting capability directly into the service truck, fleets can equip technicians to respond to a broader range of battery-related service calls without depending on separate portable booster units.
The system can be mounted inside a weatherproof cabinet and is available with heavy-duty booster cable configurations to suit different service truck layouts and reach requirements. VMAC offers the 12/24V Battery Booster with either a 30- or 10-foot heavy-duty booster cable option.
The Battery Booster joins VMAC's growing range of mobile equipment and accessories designed to help service fleets consolidate equipment, maximize available truck space, and improve productivity in the field.
