GUAY, home to the largest crane fleet in Canada, has added two LR 1700-1.0 crawler cranes and two LG 1800-1.0 mobile cranes to its existing lineup of 38 Liebherr cranes.

These machines represent some of the most advanced heavy lift technologies available today. The LR 1700-1.0 combines the mobility and transport advantages of a 600-ton class crawler crane with the performance characteristics of larger units, while the LG 1800-1.0 delivers exceptional lifting capability with the flexibility of a mobile crane platform. Together, they provide unmatched versatility for demanding applications such as wind turbine installation and repair, especially in remote areas.

The decision to invest in these models reflects a broader industry trend: companies prioritizing equipment that offers advanced engineering and dependable after-sales support. Liebherr's reputation for durability, service responsiveness, and innovation continues to make it a preferred choice for GUAY.

"We rely on equipment that performs in the field, and Liebherr has proven time and again that we can count on them," said Guillaume Gagnon, executive vice president at GUAY. "These new cranes provide the power and precision our projects demand, strengthening our capabilities and reinforcing our commitment to partnering with manufacturers who share our standards for quality and service."
