CM Labs Simulations will showcase its Intellia, its Intelligent Training System, at Utility Expo 2025, from October 7 to 9 in Louisville, Kentucky. CM Labs will also debut all-new Intellia equipment training packs designed to reflect the complex realities of today's utility job sites and help organizations build safer, more skilled crews with simulation training that mirrors real-world challenges. As well, CM Labs will also exhibit hands-on live demonstrations of new changes coming to its walkaround inspection training.

Job-specific training

Attendees visiting the CM Labs' booth will be able to engage with new and existing training packs at two themed 5-screen simulator stations:

  • Underground operations station - A station featuring new and existing equipment training packs designed to teach core skills, such as navigating around underground utilities and buried infrastructure.
  • Overhead operations station - A station showcasing CM Labs' latest training packs for overhead operations, which provide scenario-based, progressive training for operating in tight spaces and high-risk environments such as near power lines. The station will also highlight the industry's only Digger Derrick Simulator, plus additional solutions for overhead utility work.

Each station will run on CM Labs' durable hardware, equipped with OEM-grade controls, and will be powered by Intellia, the Intelligent Training System that provides centralized reporting, trainee progress tracking, and deep, data-driven performance insights.

"We're excited to expand our product suite with solutions that directly address the utility sector's most urgent challenges," said Lisa Barbieri, vice president of marketing and strategic partnerships at CM Labs. "With the new demands of modern technology and a growing need for a more robust grid and infrastructure, utilities face added pressure to prepare skilled crews fast. Our simulation-based training is designed to build field-ready operators who work safely, efficiently, and effectively."
