VMAC and Miller Technology collaborate on air compressor integration for mining applications
The VR70 air compressor system is integrated into Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series vehicles to power essential equipment off-grid
VMAC and Miller Technology have collaborated to create the VMAC VR70 air compressor system for Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series vehicles designed specifically for off-road and mining applications. This partnership combines Miller Technology's expertise in mining vehicle resources with VMAC's air compressor technology.
Miller Technology, a specialist mining equipment manufacturer, modifies service trucks and vehicles to meet the extreme demands of underground mining operations.
The Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series equipped with the VMAC VR70 system will be deployed globally for use in underground mining operations. The compressor will power a variety of essential equipment, including tire servicing tools, transfer pumps, lubrication packages, and air starters on heavy machinery.
Miller Technology is now exploring the integration of VMAC compressors in its electric vehicle (EV) Land Cruiser models. These EV versions, which have been operating successfully in the field since 2018, demonstrate Miller Technology's commitment to innovative services for mining operations.
Strengthening tools for the mining segment through a thoughtful partnership
