There's not much to see, yet, but Ram Truck has confirmed it's in on the battery electric pickup market with a teaser of its upcoming concept to be unveiled at CES 2023 in January.

The Ram 1500 Revolution battery-electric vehicle concept is, according to the company, a visionary roadmap and a glimpse into the future, with plenty of advanced technology features on board, creating a truck that Ram says will redefine the pickup segment.

Ram's parent company Stellantis has set its Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan to target clean, safe, innovative, and affordable mobility solutions, and the Ram brand is intending to keep that in focus as it moves forward. To that end, Ram states that it will have electrified solutions in the majority of its segments by 2025, and all of its segments by the 2030 deadline. Those electric options, including the Ram 1500 BEV that will debut for production in 2024, will, according to Ram, push ahead in key areas valued by truck customers: range, towing, payload, and charge time.

CES 2023 takes place in Las Vegas January 5 to 8, 2023.
