Bobcat goes bigger with 19-ton excavator

Bobcat E165 excavator

Bobcat Company has been turning heads as it produces larger excavators inching ever closer towards mid-size-class machines. The 19-ton Bobcat E165 is the company's biggest excavator ever and fronted the company's display at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020.

While this new machine will be the largest excavator in Bobcat's lineup, it is still light enough to transport to and from the jobsite.

The E165 is designed for heavy digging and lifting operations on building sites, underground utility applications, and road and bridge projects.

Bobcat says that it delivers class-leading hydraulic performance and provides reliable, steady power to save time with every digging cycle.

The E165's powerful lifting capacity enables operators to pick and place items with ease and Bobcat says that it delivers exceptional operator comfort and simplified maintenance. The pressurized cab features a seamless sound-isolating seal to keep sound levels low inside the operator station.

The E165 will be available in summer 2020.
