Mack Trucks with have six truck models on display at World of Concrete 2019, January 22–25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The lineup includes four Mack Granite mixer models and two Mack TerraPro concrete pumper models.

Mack also will highlight its industry-leading fully integrated powertrain, includingMack MP engines, Mack mDRIVET HD automated manual transmissions and Mack drive axles, as well as its extensive support for body builders, including a body builder support group and dedicated concrete pumper support hotline.

Volvo Trucks enhances uptime and connectivity capabilities with new Over-the-Air "Parameter Plus" subscription package

The pace of change in the transportation industry is more rapid than ever and customers are demanding faster ways of communication through connectivity. Volvo collaborates with California stakeholders to showcase potential of Connected Vehicle Technologies

On March 6, 2019, Volvo Group participated in a demonstration of Eco-Drive technology with a Volvo VNL along two connected freight corridors in Carson, California. Eco-Drive integrates traffic signal data with vehicle dynamics to provide real-time speed recommendations. This mitigates harsh driving maneuvers and can therefore reduce the impact of freight movement through disadvantaged communities.

Philippi-Hagenbuch Inc., (PHIL) a specialist in off-highway truck customization, has invented a new version of their Autogate Tailgate specifically for off-highway trucks and roll-off containers that require a 100 percent positive seal. This new design can be paired with PHIL's proprietary fluidic seal material to create a water-tight seal that contains liquid materials within an off-highway truck body or roll-off container when environmental regulations or local laws make even slight spillage undesirable.

Mack debuts mDRIVE HD in TerraPro concrete pumpers

Mack Trucks will offer the Mack mDRIVE HD automated manual transmission (AMT) in Mack TerraPro concrete pumper models beginning in 2019, marking the first time in the industry that an AMT has been available in a cabover concrete pumper. The fully integrated 13- and 14-speed mDRIVE HD AMTs give concrete pumper customers improved performance, proven durability and maximized uptime in an easy-to-operate package.
