Terex Minerals Processing Systems Displayed Three New Products At CONEXPO

Terex Minerals Processing Systems recently showed off the new CRJ3750 portable jaw plant, an impressive, large capacity, highly mobile unit. The new, revolutionary LJ-TS “V” Series horizontal screen features variable slope and delivers unmatched production. The new MVP380X cone crusher features major enhancements that increase productivity and ease of use.

THE NEW TEREX® CEDARAPIDS CRJ3750 PORTABLE Jaw PLant offerS high production AND NUMEROUS OPTIONS

The new Terex® Cedarapids CRJ3750 plant combines a robust JS Series jaw crusher with a high stroke, 52” x 20’ (1321 x 6096 mm) vibrating grizzly feeder resulting in a high production portable crushing machine. The CRJ3750 is built rugged, including a new hopper design, to handle tough primary crushing applications. The highly mobile plant is easy to operate and maintain and offers new levels of reliability and convenience. The JS Series jaw crusher features the latest improvements such as wedge release jaw dies and hydraulic assist jaw crusher settings. The jaw crusher isolation mounts reduce plant vibration. The tail of the product conveyor lowers for operation, maximizing clearance under the jaw crusher. The conveyor discharge height adjusts to reduce material impact on the receiving conveyor.  Multiple options are available, allowing customers to configure the plant to meet specific needs. Options include a rock breaker, folding hopper wings, hydraulic jacks, hydraulic deployed switchgear, and several axle configurations.

Ed Sauser, Product Manager at Terex Minerals Processing Systems states, “The new CRJ3750 portable jaw plant was developed with input from numerous customers. The plant includes many features that simplify maintenance and the flush side design allows easier side loading.  We also designed in many options, including a boom mounted rock breaker, so the plant can be configured to meet customer’s needs.”

REVOLUTIONARY TEREX® CEDARAPIDS LJ-TS “V” SERIES HORIZONTAL SCREEN LINE DELIVERS UNMATCHED PRODUCTION

The new Terex® Cedarapids “V” Series horizontal screens increase production and handle applications not possible with traditional horizontal screens because they combine the efficient, high g-force El-Jay™ oval stroke motion with variable slope operation to handle larger deck loads. The new design also features more steel in the “rock zone” for industry leading durability. The LJ-TSV horizontal screens have multiple new patent-pending features to boost production including variable slope, the vibration damper system and optional bottom deck deflector plates. The variable slope feature allows the screens to handlelarger deck loads and bigger screen openings to increase production. The screens install up to 10° in 2.5° increments to best fit the application. Additionally, the vibration damper system offers very low maintenance and the optional bottom deck deflector plates boost efficiency.

Ed Sauser, Product Manager at Terex Minerals Processing Systems states, “We are very excited to introduce the new models of “V” Series Screens with variable slope operation which gives customers a product that will handle more applications than other screens on the market. The increased capabilities, higher production, enhanced durability and ease of maintenance of the LJ-TSV screen will make it an industry leader.”

NEW TEREX® CEDARAPIDS MVP380X CONE CRUSHER INCREASES UPTIME

The new Terex® Cedarapids MVP380X cone crusher boasts numerous features that increase the machine’s productivity and ease of use. Major new enhancements include high speed clearing of jammed material and quick crusher separation capability for fast manganese changes.

The 300 hp (224 kW) MVP380X crusher incorporates pinned cylinder ends that remove quickly to allow fast cone separation which results in fast manganese changes, reducing downtime. At the press of a button, fully guided dual action tramp relief cylinders provide 6" (152 mm) lift for easy clearing of jammed feed material to reduce downtime and increase productivity. The hydro-pneumatic tramp iron relief system instantly resets the crusher setting after passing uncrushable material without having to activate valves and pumps. A high-flow manifold system with four accumulators provides redundant cylinder protection. The hydraulic powered threaded upper assembly allows for quick crusher setting adjustment under load. Computer optimized main frame components are high endurance, all-cast construction. The new, more rugged cone head is designed for high-force, demanding crushing applications. The patented Rollercone® super bearing design is highly efficient and provides more horsepower for crushing. The MVP380X is a versatile crusher and has proven its durability and productivity especially in abrasive, hard rock applications.
