Power-V XT Plow launched and Box plow added to lineup

New for 4X4, 1/2 to 1 ton trucks and SUVs, THE BOSS Snowplow has introduced a 7’6” Power-V XT Plow featuring a high performance cutting edge, built-in curb guards and snow catcher.

Flared blade wings with an enhanced curl throw snow higher and farther than straight blade plows for improved efficiency and less time on the job. Plus, an enclosed hydraulics package protects against corrosion and hydraulic freeze-up. The full moldboard trip design prevents plow damage when an obstacle is encountered.

THE BOSS Snowplow has also added to their Box Plow Lineup for skid steer applications with the introduction of the B-8 (8’ 4”) and B-10 (10’ 4”) box plows.

Built to last, the new B-8 and B-10 box plows feature a universal coupler fitting all skid steers for easy attachment; users just drive into the universal tool carrier and connect two hydraulic couplers. No special control is required, simply use the existing skid steer control.

The B-8 and B-10 models trip-edge design protect the plow and skid steer when obstacles are encountered, maximizing performance and protection from impact. Adjustable trip springs let the operator adjust trip-edge tension.    To keep the blade on the ground at the optimal scraping angle while negotiating rough terrain, these plows feature a built-in float and pivot system. This feature also makes the box plow easier to maneuver for less experienced operators.  

A unique bolt-on wing design will keep these plows in extended operation for many years. If a wing is bent because of impact, a new one can easily be bolted on. Heavy duty plow shoes are made of abrasion resistant steel providing wear resistance to keep the plow performing at its best.  

Both new box plows feature THE BOSS’ exclusive SmartShield finish to deliver durable corrosion protection and a long-lasting, high-gloss shine.
