Trail King’s steel side-dump trailer has an abrasion-resistant tub constructed of two rolled pieces of Hardox 450. The round bottom delivers fast, clean dumping of the load away from the trailer, with no “carry back.” The fewer weld seams associated with this design minimize the likelihood of cracking. Best of all, this tub design results in weight savings of several hundred pounds.
The large formed top rail resists twisting and flexing of tub. This new design provides twice the flex resistance of previous models. Electric and manual tarp systems are available as options.
Twin five-inch bore, single-stage, 3,000-psi cylinders offer maximum stability when dumping.
One-piece I-beam construction results in a mainframe that is stronger, with less twisting and load bounce, all of which reduces opportunity for the frame to develop cracks.
Four models are available with 40,000- and 60,000-pound payload capacities.
