The XCG2 Contractors Grapple is the latest design from Nye. Engineered primarily for demolition work, these units are also excellent for wood waste and construction debris. The XCG2 grapple shown here features increased crushing power, optional biomimetic “alligator” teeth for splitting/crushing wood waste, and an optional AR400 abrasion kit that covers the side and back of each tine.
Tines are made from QT100, and are protected by AR400 wear plates and serrated on the sides for improved gripping and pulling of material. All tips are AR400 with re-designed geometry for better penetration. These units also feature ultra-hard alloy pins and bushings.
All Nye grapples come standard with an extra heavy, three-position bracket and brace, are easy to install, require no extra hydraulics and offer simple, safe, almost silent operation. Quick coupler and pin grabber models are also available.
