Kubota has introduced a new super quiet, heavy duty, four-pole type generator series. A special enclosure with noise absorbing duct work contribute to its super quiet performance, with the machines running in the 63- to 65-dB(A) range. The heart of the Kubota generators are Kubota’s own diesel engines. These sturdy built, one-side-maintenance type diesel engines promise great reliability and service life for almost any application. The generator and the engine are direct-coupled to ensure a more reliable power supply with minimum power loss. Solid-state voltage regulation maintains excellent stability (less than five percent) during load changing conditions. Quick response automatically provides stable power to sensitive equipment. Diesel engines selected to power the heavy-duty SQ series produce far less soot, HC and CO emissions thanks to Kubota’s original E-TVCS combustion. Noise within the generator unit has been lowered by improving the noise reduction enclosure and by adding a new noise absorbing duct with three air intake holes. The oversized muffler has also helped lower the sound level.
