LeeBoy’s Rosco brand Tru-Pac 915 pneumatic-tired roller features an articulated design that provides true tracking on turns and full-width compaction, which is especially useful in tight areas. The traditional nine-wheel Tru-Pac 915 has a 68-inch compaction width.
All-wheel oscillation increases kneading action during compaction and eliminates floating over low spots for consistent compaction. Frame articulation is rated at +/- 40 degrees, while the tire oscillation is rated at +/- 10 degrees. Powered by an 80 hp CAT diesel engine, the Tru-Pac 915 has hydrostatic wheel-motor drive to provide infinitely variable control of the roller at speeds from 0 to 15 mph.
Ballastable up to 30,500 pounds, each of the nine wheels delivers approximately 3,500 pounds of compactive force directly to the work surface. Integrated directly into the frame, ballast compartments enhance the compactor’s stability with a low centre of gravity. Tru-Pac 915 also features a 100-gallon pressurized polyethylene water tank and spray system to increase the roller’s ef-ficiency by limiting the amount of needed refills.
