Atlas Copco’s introduces a new compressor for service vehicles and a new generator for construction and rental
The XAS 185 JDU7 Utility Compressor is designed for cross mounting on service vehicles used for maintenance, road striping, and related activities. It offers easy mounting and dismounting from the carrier but also features two sets of forklift slots on the front and sides as well as a lifting bail for mobility in non truck-mounted applications.

The base model – the XAS 185 JDU7 – offers 185 cfm at 100 psi (the XAS 185 JDU7 with Auxiliary Drive has the same rating but with an auxiliary drive option); the XAS 250 JDU7 offers 250 cfm at 150 psi; and the XAS 300 JDU7 delivers 290 cfm at 100 psi. The newest offering in the QAS portable generator line is the QAS 330 generator with 350 kVA of standby power. It is powered by a John Deere, six-cylinder diesel engine with direct injection, turbo-charged and inter-cooled offering 362 hp at 1,800 rpm. A sound attenuated and rugged Zincor steel enclosure on the QAS 330 ensures the unit emits just 73 dBA at 23 feet at 75 percent load. The units are easy to transport and easily maneuvered on the job site. With their smaller size they are ideal for urban use where space constraints are a common issue. The fuel tank is centrally placed so that regardless of how much the fuel tank is filled, the unit is in balance. A large number of optional extras are available to suit a wide range of applications.
