Auto-idle and changes to hydraulics are just some of the features added to Kubota excavators

Kubota Canada has added some of their popular features to more of their excavators. Auto-idle improves fuel efficiency by idling the engine when the control levers aren’t being used. Changes to hydraulics are: auxiliary hydraulic flow control which allows operators to control the speed of hydraulic attachments; and third-line hydraulic return which allows the option of having the oil return directly to the tank, reducing the potential for hydraulic oil contamination and reducing back-pressure for the operator. The automatic travel lock feature prevents the tracks from moving when working or parking on an incline. In addition, all excavators will now feature Tier IV or Interim Tier IV engines. These engines will comply with the Tier 3 standards now in effect, plus operate even cleaner than engines that only meet Tier 3 standards.
