Kubota Canada has added some popular features to more of their excavators. Auto-idle improves fuel efficiency by idling the engine when the control levers aren’t being used. Auxiliary hydraulic flow control allows operators to control the speed of hydraulic attachments. Third line hydraulic return allows the option of having the oil return directly to the tank, which reduces potential for hydraulic oil contamination and reduces back-pressure for the operator. Automatic travel lock prevents the tracks from moving when working or parking on an incline. These upgrades will improve performance, safety and durability on more excavators.
In addition, all excavators will now feature Tier 4 or Interim Tier 4 engines. These engines will comply with the Tier 3 standards now in effect, plus operate even cleaner than engines that only meet Tier 3 standards.
