The DH45MR 1-3/4-inch SDS Max Rotary Hammer features patented Internal Double Insulation (IDI) technology and impact energy of 11.4 foot-pounds. Hitachi’s patented IDI technology enables the aluminum housing to be integrated with an injection molded inner nylon core. This technology combines the durability of a metal-bodied tool with the double insulation advantages of today’s plastic housings. The tool bearing sits in die cast aluminum instead of plastic, improving tool reliability and greatly extending tool life. Constant speed control delivers consistent and efficient performance through varying loads. Electronic variable speed control gives the tool a full-load rpm from 120-240 and an impact rate of 1200-2500 bpm, allowing the user to manage the tool speed according to the demands of the material.
