Hardox 500 Tuf, a new generation of wear plate for dump bodies and buckets, has been officially introduced at the Oil Sands Trade Show in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Hardox Wearparts announces the launch of Duroxite 100 Pipe to add to its Duroxite overlay product line. The finished pipes have the same high wear resistance as Duroxite plate products. Consistent wear properties are guaranteed throughout the pipe down to 75% of the overlay thickness as opposed to just the surface of the overlay. The remaining 25% of overlay is the transition layer necessary to maintain good bonding to the base plate. An optimal carbide composition ensures homogenous bonding between the base metal and overlay adding to its high wear resistance and long service life.
My Inner Strenx is a membership program for companies that design and manufacture advanced steel structures that take full advantage of Strenx performance steel.
Strenx is designed for sectors where structural strength and weight savings are key competitive factors, especially in the lifting, handling and transportation industries. Strenx is also well-suited for frames of heavy mobile machines, rolling stock, as well as for applications in the agricultural, offshore and construction sectors. Now customers will be able to design more competitive and sustainable products – cranes that reach further, trailers that carry more payload, trucks that use less fuel.
