High Performance Stability Control for Truck-mounted Crane

PALFINGER’s product developers have always had a special affinity for practical and particularly user-friendly solutions and they have demonstrated this over and over. Once again, their latest development in stability control is setting new standards. We are talking here about “HPSC”. HP stands for High Performance. SC stands for Stability Control. What this really means is another intelligent PALFINGER system that increases comfort and safety when operating truck-mounted cranes.

PALFINGER introduces nine new models

Under the slogan “Making the best even better”, PALFINGER continues to introduce new models in its trendsetting “High Performance” range. Nine new crane models were recently introduced to the North American market and PALFINGER North America has no intention of letting up!

The PALFINGER Compact telescopic series has been completely redesigned in the performance class up to four metre tonnes. The new models offer up to 15% increase in lifting moment and up to 25% decrease in dead weight. In addition, the new models have more reach and an improved slewing system. PALFINGER Compact models PC 1500, PC 2700 and PC 3800 set a new benchmark in this range.

PALFINGER has introduced two new models in the small knuckle boom class, the PK 3400 and PK 4200. Representing a significant advancement in small-crane design, the newly developed extension system allows up to 32’ 2” of hydraulic reach. These new cranes are ready for use in the building materials trade, horticulture and the municipal sectors!

With top-of-the-line technological equipment, the PK 13002 and PK 14002-EH redefine the meaning of state-of-the-art! Each new High Performance Power Link crane stands out from the crowd due to its innovative technology and functional design. The Power Link Plus System (where the knuckle boom is capable of tilting upwards to 15 degrees) comes standard on these two new models, enabling operators to carry out even the most difficult tasks in tight quarters with utmost precision.

The PK 40002-EH and PK 50002-EH are the latest models introduced in the heavy-duty High Performance series. These models are distinguished by their innovative and user-friendly product design, high payload and enormous hydraulic outreach. Equipped with a dual drive endless slewing system, maintenance free boom system, function design elements and Power Link Plus, the PK 40002-EH and PK 50002-EH are ambassadors of PALFINGER’s leadership in technology.

Universal truck loading crane

The PK 32002 Performance is a universal truck loading crane which stands out by virtue of its excellent movement geometry. Deployment of the proven POWER LINK double linkage system becomes even more efficient in combination with the POWER LINK PLUS – a knuckle boom which can be angled upwards 15 degrees. Thanks to its endless slewing mechanism the crane achieves maximum mobility. For overload protection the PK 32002 Performance is equipped as standard with the PALTRONIC 50 system.

Heavy-duty crane for landscaping applications

The heavy-duty PK 40002 crane (shown here in a tree removal/trimming application) is designed for excellent movement geometry and power-to-weight ratio. An endless slewing mechanism as well as a knuckle boom with a working angle of 195 degrees, endow these cranes with maximum mobility. Equipment features installed as standard, such as a double linkage system, generously-dimensioned hydraulic lines, and return oil utilization ensure high efficiency and a high working speed. Maximum operating pressure is 300 bar (4,350 psi), maximum lifting capacity is 13,160 kg/129.1 kN (29,010 pounds) and maximum hydraulic outreach is 20.6 m (67 feet, seven inches.) Also available, the smaller model PK 36002 features a maximum lifting capacity of 12,000 kg/117.7 kN (26,450 pounds.)

Truck mounted forklifts

The CRAYLER CR 45, CR 50 and CR 55, and CR 65 truckmounted forklifts deliver brick, block, lumber and wallboard over rugged terrain and through crowded work sites. Features include synchronized 3-wheel drive, improved climbing and rough terrain capabilities, and twin-lock wheel motors. Centre-seat positioning (vs. side seat) gives the operator easier on-and-off access, a more stable feel, and much better view for judging load centres or mounting the truck. Controls are in front, and foot area is large with plenty of legroom.
