Gehl has added the new RT185 track loader, a 1,850-pound-capacity machine, to their Pilot Series line. The Gehl RT185 joins the RT165, RT215 and VT320, bringing the Gehl Pilot Series line up to four pilot-controlled track loader models for North America.
Gehl has released four new and improved telehandler models for the North American market. The new Gehl DL Gen:3 Series models feature a single joystick control for boom extension and retraction, attachment tilt, auxiliary hydraulics and forward/neutral/reverse. The all-in-one joystick allows the operator to control all machine functions with one hand while leaving the other hand on the steering wheel.
With the announcement of the all-new Mark74 Series, Gehl introduces a range of 74 hp telescopic handlers for the North American Market. These new units follow the same standards as any Gehl machine, with the same capacities as their RS Series Gen:3 counterparts, with the exception of a 74hp engine that eliminates the need for after treatment fluid.
Gehl's new line of track loaders called the Pilot Series includes three models: the RT185 with 1,850 pounds of rated operating capacity at 35 percent tipping load; the RT215 with 2,150 pounds of rated operating capacity at 35 percent tipping load; and the RT255 with 2,550 pounds of rated operating capacity at 35 percent tipping load. All three models feature pilot-operated joystick controls, which give the operator true one-to-one proportional control over the drive system. The controls are mounted to the seat for added legroom and comfort during operation. The result is a responsive system that provides both low- and high-end speed controllability.
