Mortar Mixer comes with added capacity

The Stone Champion Mortar Mixer is now available in a full three-bag model – the 955PM. The nine-cubic-foot capacity 955PM has a rolled steel drum and is powered by a choice of several engine options. The added capacity adds productivity, making the mixer ideal for commercial masons.

Well-balanced rammer

The middleweight Stomper model XH730 combines optimal impact with an easy-to-manage weight. Equipped with a four-cycle, 3-hp Honda engine, the XH730 has an impact force of 3,100 pounds. Operators can choose either a float carburetor or the diaphragm configuration. The Stomper weighs in at 144 pounds and uses a two-stage air filtration system, forged pistons and solid snubbers. They can be laid down in any direction for easy transport in truck beds or trailers. The XH730 is one of three models of 4-cycle rammers.

Roller offers long run time

Stone Construction Equipment’s 84-inch, ride-on, vibratory dirt roller – the Rhino 84X – is a 12-ton roller. It delivers substantial performance with a choice of high or low compaction forces – 42,743 pounds and 62,989 pounds, respectively. It’s powered by a 130-hp Cummins water-cooled diesel engine. Features include: a fully equipped cab with maximum visibility in all directions, heat, air conditioning and satellite radio; the convenience of a 4-in-1 vibratory and directional control lever; added reliability from heavy-duty Sauer-Danfoss hydraulic components; a ZF no-spin differential axle which delivers maneuverability and climbability; and extra-large 58-gallon hydraulic and fuel tanks for extra long run times. An optional padfoot drum conversion kit is available.

Walk-behind or ride-on mud buggy

Stone has added a 21-cubic-foot mortar buggy to the Stone Mud Buggy line – the SB2100. The mud buggy has a load capacity of 3,200 pounds with the versatility of a walk-behind or ride-on machine and is powered by a 13-hp Honda engine. It easily moves concrete, mortar, gravel, dirt, debris and more around the toughest jobsites. The new model has many of the same patented features of the 16-cubic-foot SB1600 buggy including: the one-piece, lift-away polyethylene engine cover requires no tools to remove and can be lifted away for full access to the engine compartment without dumping the tub; the patented lockable, fold-up operator platform is contoured, allowing increased maneuverability in confined areas; a large eight-gallon fuel tank provides longer run times while the seven-gallon removable hydraulic tank allows for cooler running; handlebar-mounted levers control speed and direction; a dumping lever and integrated foot pedal provide for precise, controlled dumping; heavy-duty foam-filled dual tires provide optimum maneuverability on most any terrain.

Pre-engineered system for building fence-ready retaining walls

Sleeve-It is a pre-engineered, code-compliant system for building fence-ready retaining walls. This product is a recent addition to Strata Systems’ full line of polymeric geogrid products, and is basically a foundation system that utilizes traditional cantilever technology for anchoring perimeter fences and guards to mortarless block retaining walls. Sleeve-It is a patent-pending system – part of an extended family of products that include steel-reinforced fence post integration systems for numerous commercial, residential and site amenity applications. As an integrated system, Sleeve-It eliminates the 3-ft. buffer zone mandated between fence posts and compaction, in trenches and general asphalt patching and repair. Units are powered by a 10-hp Lombardini diesel engine and include a back-up recoil start. It has a compaction force of 2,925 pounds with a maximum travel speed of 2.5 miles per hour. The roller has a 10-inch curb clearance and 1-inch side clearance on both sides for optimum performance tight to curbs and other obstructions.

Double-drum walk-behind roller

The WBR650 Walk-behind Roller features a 25.5-inch drum width and hydrostatic transmission for optimum performance on bridge abutments, larger sidewalks, parking lots and road shoulders. It is ideal for confined area compaction, in trenches and general asphalt patching and repair.

Smooth Operator trowel

Part of Stone’s Smooth Operator Power Trowel line, the 36-inch CF36L weighs 23 pounds less than a standard 36-inch unit, and so is ideal for basement work and jobs where the concrete hasn’t cured enough to support a heavier trowel.
