With another year of busy growth for Rototilt Group, with increased sales and continued growth on the export markets, Rototilt foresees continued success and is expanding its factory in Sweden by more than 3,000 square metres. "With the tremendous growth we are seeing in North America along with other emerging markets it is great to see the expanded factory investment commitment to meet the growing global demand for Rototilt tiltrotators," says Gerry Mallory, general manager, Rototilt Inc.
When a contractor is looking to get the most out of their excavator they utilize a variety of attachments that can get more jobs done. What is often overlooked is how those attachments are coupled to the machine – and how a tiltrotator can not only allow that equipment to do more, but to do it faster, safer and with less labour.
Rototilt recently introduced three new tiltrotator models with enhanced control system technology for excavators from 10 to 30 tonnes.
Rototilt introduces a line of hydraulic compactors that are ideally suited to work with Rototilt for the ultimate in compacting flexibility. Mounted on a Rototilt, the operator can work efficiently on flat, sloped, or uneven surfaces and compact easily around obstacles or in tight areas.
Trimble and Rototilt have announced that excavator operators can now achieve accurate guidance when using a tilt rotator attachment with the Rototilt Positioning Solution and the Trimble GCS900 Grade Control System.
The Rototilt model RT20 is designed for mini excavators in the 3- to 6-tonne weight class. Rototilt is an attachment that combines side tilt, rotation, and a hydraulic quick coupler all in one package. It allows a bucket or other attachment to be rotated and tilted at the same time, making it simple to operate around or under obstacles, and for any type of ground contouring. The unique combination of continuous rotation and side tilt lets you approach your job from any angle.
