Superior Industries Inc., a manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, has announced Grant Aggregate as a new distributor of Superior components products. Officially a distributor since January 1, 2017, Grant Aggregate will market, stock, and sell Superior idlers, pulleys, belt cleaners, and other conveyor accessories.
Situated right outside of Glenwood, MN, 36 miles away from Hancock Concrete’s headquarters, the Glenwood Pit is the source of rock product for the company’s concrete production. Hancock Concrete, which turns 100 years old this year, designs and fabricates precast concrete box culverts, round and arch pipe, manhole structures, and bridges. In 2011, the company was acquired by nearby Superior Industries. Superior, a manufacturing company founded in 1972 by Neil Schmidgall, engineers and builds bulk material processing and handling equipment and machinery components.
Superior Industries displayed more than two dozen new solutions for bulk processing and handling applications at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017. The Morris, Minnesota-based manufacturer of conveying and bulk handling equipment has undergone significant transformation in the last three years, and over the last decade, and is now a full-line supplier of quarry and aggregate, and C&D processing equipment, including conveyors, crushing, screening, washing and components, comprising a comprehensive line of products designed to provide a complete solution for what the company calls "Rock face to Load Out." Since 2014, Superior Industries has introduced 95 new products. According to the company, at this year's CONEXPO-CON/AGG, they had the largest single display of new products in the history of the event.
Superior Industries, Inc., a U.S. based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, is expanding its line of Exterra Belt Cleaners with a new secondary model. Designed for straightforward, quick conveyor installations, the Exterra Secondary Belt Cleaner will debut at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017. Trade show attendees will be able to view the cleaner from March 7-11 at Superior’s booth (#C31955) in Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
