Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) this week announced they have retained lobbying and public affairs firm, , to represent the Association in Ottawa and throughout Canada.
AED President & CEO Brian McGuire issued the following statement in response to the announcement on Feb. 18 that the U.S. and Canadian governments had reached an agreement to clear the way for construction of the New International Trade Crossing (NITC) bridge between Detroit and Windsor, Ontario. AED is the trade association representing U.S. and Canadian construction equipment distributors. Since 2012, AED has led coalition efforts in Washington, D.C. to urge the project’s final approval.
Members of the Canadian Association of Equipment Distributors (CAED) from across Canada will come together for the group’s Annual Convention in Victoria, B.C. from June 17 to 19. The three days will be filled with events, speakers and seminars, as well as networking and plenty of information regarding the equipment industry.
