Philippi-Hagenbuch showcased material spreader for applications from mining to landfills at MINExpo 2016

Philippi-Hagenbuch showcased its Material Spreader Body at booth 4609 during MINExpo 2016, as well as at a press conference. The Material Spreader is designed primarily for mining but with benefits in a variety of applications, including construction, aggregates, quarries and landfills. It provides a safe and efficient solution for mine haul road maintenance. It improves the safety and traction of icy haul roads in winter by applying road grit. During spring thaw, the Material Spreader easily tackles deteriorating road areas by spreading repair material and building up areas.

Philippi-Hagenbuch highlighted its exclusive design technology, Predictive Load, during MINExpo 2016. The system gives customers HiVol Load Profiled truck bodies optimized for maximum payload in their unique operation conditions. The Load Profiled system considers the materials to be hauled, types and sizes of equipment loading the material, and haul cycles to provide accurate real-world analysis of the loads. Volvo CE Signs Special Application Agreement With Philippi-Hagenbuch

Volvo Construction Equipment has entered into an international supply agreement with Philippi-Hagenbuch, Inc. (PHIL) to offer its customized products and technology including their proprietary ejector bodies, water tanks, J-Hook systems, sticky material carryback solutions in addition to other articulated hauler customizations.  This agreement spans the entire Volvo CE articulated hauler product line, which includes the A25F, A30F, A35F, A40F standard and full suspension (FS) versions. A Volvo articulated hauler with Philippi-Hagenbuch technology is recognized as an asset in certain construction and mining applications.
