The latest F series Hydrema 922HM low ground pressure dump truck comes with more engine power, an upgraded cab and new controls. The 22-ton payload 922HM complies with the latest emission legislation/EPA Tier 4 Final without the use of Diesel Particle Filter (DPF) but by using DOC and SCR catalyst with DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid).
Hydrema recently celebrated the grand opening of their new North American headquarters on Friday, September 23. The event brought over 100 attendees to the new, larger facility, located at 4515 Hemingway Trail, Cumming, Georgia. With approximately 24,500 square feet of space, Hydrema’s new headquarters allows for additional offices for the growing company, as well as increased parts storage and acreage for stocking the 912HM, 922HM and other Hydrema products.
Hydrema, a leading supplier of modern, high performance earth moving equipment, is pleased to announce their expansion with the groundbreaking of their new North American headquarters in Cumming, GA. With approximately 24,500 square feet of space, this new location furthers Hydrema’s plans to expand their business in North America and support their growing dealer network.
Curry Supply Company has teamed up with Hydrema US Inc. to produce 2,500-gallon articulated water trucks on a Hydrema chassis.
The stability of Hydrema’s 22-ton 922C articulated dump truck is achieved through the special design of the centre pivot where superb weight transfer characteristics ensure stability in all conditions, even when the machine is at maximum pivot angle. It is particularly easy to drive – and thus very attractive for the rental business.
Hydrema’s 912 D-Series compact articulated dump truck features a larger, redesigned cab with computerized displays and very low noise level. It provides a low ground pressure of 10.4/17.4 psi loaded. This is a two-axle ADT with a payload of 22,000 pounds and is also available in a MultiTip model, featuring side-dump capability.
Hydrema’s 922C is a 22-ton articulated dump truck. The development process focused on achieving superb cross-country capabilities even in very soft terrain, very low fuel consumption and an unprecedented stability for articulated dump trucks.
The C-series 2 mobile excavators are equipped with a new Perkins common rail Stage IIIA engine with an output of 96 kW/131 hp. The common rail engine also has a 19 percent higher torque than the predecessor. This gives the operator more power to work with even at low rpm. The greater engine power at low rpm results in less noise and vibration, which can be felt both inside and outside the cab. This is especially advantageous when working in the city where noise levels are often a concern. The cab has been re-designed with the lights integrated in the roof line. Operator comfort has been specifically improved in a number of ways with a new comfortable, all-ergonomic mechanically suspended seat (air-suspension is available as option), and the machines now feature an air conditioning system as standard. A new viscoelastic engine suspension minimizes vibration and noise. Both armrest and joystick are also newly designed. The armrest is multi-adjustable and can be individually adapted to the operator. The joystick makes it possible to activate a number of functions, depending on the choice of equipment. The M1400C and M1700C models, at 15.4 tons and 18.3 tons respectively, are compact machines with a small turning radius. The M1520C model, at 16.6 tons, is traditionally built for output capacity.
Hydrema’s 912C Series articulated dump truck is designed with a Multi-Tip configuration, which allows the dump body to swing 90 degrees left and right to more than 50 years experience under our belts, unload material, offering the operator maximum flexibility across multiple jobsites especially in congested areas. “The 912C is perfect for my specific construction and landscaping projects,” says contractor Mike Aspinwall, talking about a recent pro-you need – with the one-stop shopping ject. “The housing units in this development are very close together. This project requires a piece of equipment that can fit between these houses and that has very low ground pressure. Low ground pressure is important because it reduces the chance of cracking curbing and leaving marks on finished concrete driveways.” The 912C has also been eliminating a lot of physical labour. “We can fill the dump with stone, sand or dirt, turn the dump body about 90 degrees, walk it along the trench and cover up our pipe,” said Aspin-wall. “The 90-degree dump body and narrow frame make it versatile.”
