TT Technologies' redesigned Grundopit pit-launched mini directional drill is well suited for difficult fiber-to-the-home and utility service line installations in tight working conditions. The unit is compact, 54 inches long, 43 inches wide and 57 inches tall. The Grundopit delivers 13,489 lbs. of thrust and pull back and 553 ft. lbs. of torque with bore length up to 150 feet. The Grundopit is an ideal entry-level system for utilities, cable industries or as a supplement to larger units.
TT Technologies will be displaying its full line of trenchless piercing tools, pipe ramming tools and pipe bursting tools, at CONEXPO 2017 in Las Vegas, NV. Attendees will be able to see the complete line of trenchless equipment including the Grundoburst static pipe bursting system and Grundocrack pneumatic pipe bursting tools. The Grundoburst static pipe bursting system utilizes a specially designed bladed cutter head to make bursting ductile iron and steel pipe possible. The Grundoburst systems range in size from 45 to 287 tons of pullback force and can be used to burst pipe from 4 to 48 inches. Grundocrack pneumatic pipe bursting tools can be used to burst fracturable pipe from 4 to 54 inches in diameter. Grundoram pneumatic pipe ramming tools can be used to ram steel casings ranging in size from 6 through 144 inches in diameter.
TT Technologies recently introduced the world’s largest, in-stock inventory of pneumatic pipe ramming gear able to accommodate 4-inch through 120-inch casing installations. TT Technologies recently expanded its large diameter inventory to now cover direct connections to 108-inch and 120-inch steel pipe.
This specially-designed, bladed, roller cutting head allows contractors to burst/split steel pipes up to 32 inches in diameter when used with larger Grundoburst static bursting systems.
