WIRELESS NETWORKING
The MDS NETio-TB is a new addition to the NETio product family that expands wireless I/O capability into the popular TransNET product line.
The NETio-TB provides MODBUS addressable I/O allowing users to monitor and control their devices without the need for additional PLC or RTU equipment. It also provides signal regeneration capability, which allows users to regenerate I/O signals between one or more devices such as PLCs or RTUs. Signal regeneration capabilities are supported over the WeXP wireless link.
Most importantly, the NETio-TB is fully compatible with new and existing TransNET radio installations. The NETio-TB fully supports the same wireless characteristics of the TransNET, including the ability to be deployed as a single unit repeater allowing store and forward data operation to extend the operating range of the network.
