Chevron Products Company’s Texaco brand of lubricants and coolants has introduced a new Texaco Syn-Star GL SAE 75W-90 designed to meet Revision C of Dana Corporation’s (Spicer Axle Division) SHAES 256 specification, which went into effect in the second quarter of 2007.
Texaco Syn-Star GL meets all major OEM warranty requirements and is recommended as a rear axle and differential lubricant in on- and off-highway vehicles when operating under severe conditions and in extremely cold or hot environments.
Texaco Syn-Star GL SAE 75W-90 offers customers a variety of benefits, including: improved equipment durability; extended drain capabilities; improved thermal and oxidation stability; reduced churning losses; improved fuel economy at low operating temperatures; and enhanced performance in a wide range of operating temperatures.
