Edmonton Kenworth named Dealer of Year Edmonton Kenworth was named 2006

Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Tucson, Arizona. “It’s certainly a tremendous honour and privilege for our dealership to be selected as the 2006 Kenworth Dealer of the Year,” said Gary M. King, president of Edmonton Kenworth (right in photo). “We have outstanding employees, great Kenworth trucks that are truly the world’s best, and loyal customers that we work hard to support every day. It’s extremely satisfying to me and our employees to be recognized for our efforts.” Edmonton Kenworth was chosen as Kenworth Dealer of the Year from among Kenworth’s six Gold Award winners for 2006. “It’s no surprise that Edmonton Kenworth once again achieved a remarkable standard of dealer excellence in 2006,” said Bob Christensen, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice president. “Edmonton Kenworth willingly invests in their business to better serve customers, sells Kenworth’s entire product line from medium duty to heavy duty trucks, and has employees that remain extremely motivated and passionate about achieving customer satisfaction.” That kind of dealer support, combined with quality products, contributed to Kenworth’s reception of 2006 J.D. Power and Associates awards for “Highest in Customer Satisfaction for Over the Road Segment and Pickup and Delivery Segment Class 8 Trucks, and for Heavy Duty Dealer Service.” (Kenworth received the highest numerical score for dealer service, over the road.) Edmonton Kenworth services Edmonton and northern Alberta operating first-class facilities and provides Kenworth truck sales, parts, service, paint, body shop and full-service leasing to the oilfield, logging and highway markets. The dealer operates three full-service locations, including two in Edmonton. This past year, Edmonton Kenworth relocated its dealership in Lloydminster, Alberta, to a new, 19-bay, 37,000 square-foot facility. The dealership had previously won the 2001 Kenworth Dealer of the Year Award and has won a Kenworth Gold Award for the past four years. Kenworth’s 2006 Silver Award winners include British Columbia’s Inland Kenworth.
