Two Ingersoll Rand zero-tail-swing compact excavators
The 7.5-metric ton ZX-75 and 12.5-metric ton ZX-125 hydraulic excavators provide powerful performance for work in building, landscaping, rental applications, and utility installation, as well as general construction and repair work. The ZX-75 excavator has an operating weight of 16,538 pounds and a 72-hp, fourcylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The ZX-125 excavator has an operating weight of 27,563 pounds and a 94-hp, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. Both machines feature zero tail swing. Articulated boom systems provide increased capability outside and parallel to the tracks for excavation within the entire width of the machine without repositioning. Maximum digging depth with the ZX-75 excavator is 13 feet 11 inches, and with the ZX-125 excavator it is 15 feet 4 inches . Auxiliary hydraulics are standard on both excavators. An optional open-flow return for the auxiliary hydraulic line allows a hammer or similar attachment to be installed without requiring special return lines. Operators can chooseISO / SAE control patterns during excavation by simply depressing a push button, ensuring efficiency on the jobsite. The dozer blades – complete with float – increase stability while working over the end or side of the machine. The blades also allow the operator to prepare a stable work pad and help clean and level the work area when excavation is complete. These compact excavators can be configured to utilize rubber tracks to minimize surface damage on turf or paved surfaces, or steel tracks to work on uneven, rocky surfaces or in demolition applications.
