Plants give contractors control of asphalt
ADM’s highly compact SPL Series of portable and stationary parallel-flow asphalt plants is available in three models ranging from 30 to 110 US tph (27 to 100 mtph). They produce consistently high-quality mix for affordable start-up and operating costs.
A parallel-flow drum provides fast, even drying of aggregate using a fuel-efficient, multi-fuel, refractorless Hauck burner which can burn a variety of fuels, including heavy fuel oil. The drying/mixing drum, cold-feed bin and surge system are transported on a single trailer. Installation, startup and asphalt production can be accomplished within two to three days of site preparation.
Either an environmental wet wash or optional baghouse system is included.
The plant’s uncomplicated design allows most maintenance to be performed by the plant operator or aggregate loader.
