High-production paver
Caterpillar’s AP-1055D is a high-production 3 m (10-foot) asphalt paver that features a Cat C7 turbocharged, 167 kW (224-hp) diesel engine. Dual swing-out operator stations can be rotated into four different positions, even beyond the machine frame for greater visibility.
The hopper includes power dumping controlled from the operator’s stations, using the machine controller to precisely control the augers and feeders, and calibrate and monitor the system. Left and right augers and feeders are controlled independently, eliminating the need for feeder gates. The feeder’s speed can be set to provide the precise material volume needed to the augers.
The AS-2301 and Extend-A-Mat 10-20B screeds are available with an electric screed heating system.
