Cold planer milling machine

A centrally mounted cutting drum allows the Marini MP 1300 cold planer to mill next to walls, curbs and other obstructions. It eliminates the need to move the right rear track away from the cut line, providing improved machine balance. A much shorter take-off belt results in lower maintenance costs and more uptime. Powered by a 275-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engine, the MP 1300 offers a standard cutting width of 51.4 inches and a high horsepower-per-cutting-tooth delivery ratio. Additionally, the direct mechanical drive design of the cutting drum delivers maximum power transfer while reducing any external losses. The unit is capable of milling depths between 0 and 12.6 inches.

Offset drums are available for pipe contractors to surgically grind through a limited portion of the road surface.
