Towing capacity of 10,500 pounds
GMC’s Sierra for 2007 is available as a two- or four-wheel-drive with regular, extended or crew cab, and three box lengths at five feet eight inches, six feet six inches, and eight feet. The small-block Vortec V-8 engine offers displacements from 4.8 to 6 litres, including the 5.3-litre FlexFuel E85 model. The Sierra Denali is offered with an exclusive 6.2-litre V-8 VVT. A Vortec 4.3-litre V-6 is the base engine on some models. With the range of engine sizes, GMC offers towing capacity of 10,500 pounds and a high payload of 2,160 pounds. The GM StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, standard on crew cab models and available on extended cabs, helps reduce the potential for rollovers, and is partnered with an improved high-capacity brake system and four-channel, four-sensor electronic brake controls.
