]]The 308 is the largest Hino truck equipped with a hydraulic braking system. Available wheel bases range from 175 to 271 inches and payload capacity is over 16,000 pounds. It is equipped with the Hino 220 H.P. J-Series OHC 4-valve turbocharged, intercooled 6 cylinder engine. The 6-speed Eaton FS5406A manual transmission is standard, and the 5-speed Allison 2500 RDS automatic transmission is an option. A Dealer installed exhaust brake kit is also available. The 2007 model comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, self-adjusting clutch, oil lubricated front wheel bearings.
