65-metre truck-mounted concrete boom pumps

65-metre truck-mounted concrete boom pumps
Concord’s model CCP-65SZ-225 has a vertical reach of 65 metres (213 feet 3 inches) and a horizontal extension reaching 60.6 metres (over 199 feet) – the longest reach in the world, the company reports. It has a proportional five-section Z-fold boom.

It is equipped with all five-inch delivery line and all standard elbows for improved wear and cost-effective operation. The large diameter delivery line is engineered for smooth concrete flow and represents a significant wear-advantage over smaller diameter pipe used on larger pumps up to now.

All-hydraulic telescoping front outriggers give maximum stability and minimum footprint with a front spread of 44 feet 10 inches (13.7 m) and rear spread of 47 feet six inches (14.5 m). The machine weighs 126,000 pounds, distributed over 53 feet three inches of length and is mounted on a six-axle, 460-hp, Mack chassis tri-steer and tri-drive with drop-axle configuration.

Built for high-pressure and high volume, the pump’s maximum output is 300 cubic yards/hour (225 cubic metres/hour) and has a hopper capacity of 21 cubic feet (600 li-tres) for a maximum aggregate size of 2.5 inches.
