Volumetric mixers offer continuous production
Compared to traditional drum mixers, which need to interrupt production to travel back to the plant to refill, a key advantage of Global volumetric mixers is their ability to offer continuous production. This capability will prove especially beneficial to customers in congested areas and where a ready-mix plant is not readily accessible.
The mixer models are available as six, eight and ten cubic yards. The eight- and ten-yard models have 525-gallon water tanks. View windows on the side allow the operator to see the cement level. An open conveyor gives an opportunity to view the aggregate and cement prior to mixing. The truck has a lower centre of gravity for greater safety and easier loading of materials.
In addition, the modular design of the Global Mixers unit allows for repairs and change-out of parts to be made in the field very quickly, providing significant time and cost savings compared to traditional mixers and delivery equipment.
