The first new machine in TimberMAX's remote-controlled lineup is the TRAKX 400 — a high-performance, fully remote-controlled tracked tool carrier engineered to support a wide range of demanding operations.

More than a single-purpose machine, the TRAKX 400 is a versatile platform capable of accommodating different attachments, giving operators the flexibility to adapt the equipment to specific applications and changing operational needs.

Built to support a range of applications in forestry, mining, and construction

At the heart of the TRAKX 400 is a simple concept: a powerful mobile platform that can perform multiple functions through interchangeable attachments. Built for challenging environments and demanding industrial operations, the TRAKX 400 combines mobility, power, and versatility in a single remote-controlled machine.

Its modular design opens the door to a wide range of potential applications across several  industries, including:

  • Forestry: Winch-assist operations, support for steep-terrain equipment and other specialized applications.
  • Mining: Equipment recovery, material handling, scaling and support for underground or surface operations.
  • Construction and industrial operations: Lifting, pulling, excavation support and other tasks requiring specialized attachments.

The official launch welcomed international customers and dealers

The TRAKX 400 was officially unveiled on October 15, 2026, during a gathering at TimberMAX's manufacturing facility in Rouyn-Noranda, Canada, where international stakeholders were welcomed.

Customers, dealers, and industry partners representing more than eight countries travelled to Canada to discover the new platform and learn about its capabilities. The first TRAKX 400 was presented with a heavy-duty winch configuration, demonstrating the machine's potential for demanding pulling and winch-assist applications while highlighting the adaptability of the platform for future attachments.

"With TRAKX, we wanted to take the knowledge and experience we've gained over the years and push it further. The TRAKX 400 is not just another machine. It's a platform designed to evolve with our customers' needs and support a wide range of applications. This launch represents an exciting new chapter for our company," shared Mathieu Lavoie, CEO at TimberMAX.
